Council for Higher Education



Assessment Warehouse offers various workshops and services linked to the submission of a CHE application for accreditation and development of academic qualifications. These can be provided as an overall package, or each of the workshops or services noted below can be offered as stand-alone services or workshops.



Services





Information sharing workshop for potential CHE Institutions



Information sharing session on the CHE and understanding the development of an academic qualification, requirements to become an educational institution registered with the CHE that manages the academic delivery of learning, and the role of workplace learning in the CHE space. (4 hours)

  • These can be done online through Zoom or Adobe Connect, or for onsite training an additional cost for travel is added to the quote.


information sharing session on che and dhet application requirements



This is an information sharing session on the CHE and DHET application process. It explains the requirements and documentation required for each section of the application process for the CHE and DHET and unpacks what is required in terms of supporting documentation for each section to demonstrate compliance. (8 hours)

Design and develop a qualification



Two day workshops are run and the process is documented to help develop the qualification framework, as well as the various subjects/modules required. This is possible for

- Higher Certificates

- Bachelor qualifications

Unfortunately, we do not develop Diploma’s at this time.

CONsulting services for che submission



The services offered are to input the online submission of the CHE application for the potential educational institution, and upload all the various supporting documents as per the requirements. This is done in conjunction with the educational institution, and requires that documentation requested is provided, which needs to be included in the submission. This is an administrative role and provides the submission service. The documentation developed for CHE requirements are not included in the CHE submission service but done separately.

  • There is a standard administrative cost for a CHE submission and this is quoted per qualification submission.


capacity building sessions



In order to develop an educational institution for becoming a CHE provider, various capacity building workshops are run, which help to explain the roles and responsibilities and processes linked to these departments:

  • Management
  • Academic Staff
  • Administrative Staff
  • Assessment and Examination Centre
  • Site Visit Preparation

CAPACITY BUILDING WORKSHOP ON WORK INTEGRATED LEARNING IN HIGHER EDUCATION



Capacity building session provided to understand and select the most appropriate of the four main curricular modalities, with possibilities for many hybrid combinations. these four modalities are: work-directed theoretical learning, problem-based/oriented learning, project- based learning, and workplace learning. Included are the requirements of each and examples of case studies. (4 hours)
