Services FOR TRAINING PROVIDERS





UNDERSTANDING THE OVERALL REQUIREMENTS TO BECOME AN ACCREDITED TRAINING PROVIDER



Information sharing session on the role of an accredited training provider/ skills development provider and the role of the Sector Education Training Authority, the Quality Assurance component, the difference between SETA qualifications and QCTO qualifications and an overview of the process, the requirements, the various other requirements to ensure ongoing compliance with accreditation. (4 hours)

UNDERSTANDING THE ACCREDITATION REQUIREMENTS OF A TRAINING PROVIDER



Information sharing session on the process, requirements and overall understanding of becoming a training provider with a SETA, requirements to comply with accreditation, which includes accreditation process, the submission process specific to the SETA applying to, SAQA's 8-core criteria and ensuring compliance and the focus on the programme wishing to be accredited. (4 hours)

UNDERSTANDING THE verification/external moderation REQUIREMENTS OF A TRAINING PROVIDER



Information sharing session on the process, requirements and overall understanding of submitting completed assessments to a SETA, requirements to comply with external moderation, which includes uploads, constituent assessors and moderators, the submission process specific to the SETA requesting EM from, SAQA's 8-core criteria and ensuring compliance with the SETA's LMS and the focus on the programme wishing to be externally moderated. (4 hours)

Remedial external moderation/accreditation capacity building and meeting compliance



Evaluation of current challenges noted through either the accreditation process, or through verification and external moderation process. Helping unpack non-compliance noted in SETA reports and create a capacity building session on how to remediate and meet the requirements noted. (depends on volume of work noted) - These can be done online through Zoom or Adobe Connect, or for onsite interventions an additional cost for travel is added to the quote. ​


We also do mock visits for first time or remedial verification/ external moderation visits. These help to prepare a provider challenged with current practice to meet the requirements of the quality assurance body.

ASSESSMENT AND MODERATION SERVICES



Various constituent registered assessors and moderators can be provided who are linked to various SETA's. Assessment and moderation costs are provided depending on whether the learning programme is a singular unit standard, a skills programme or a full qualification.
